Ski Resort, Hotel & Ryokan Duties

Front desk, gift shop, housekeeping, bell, restaurant staff, ticketing, ski rental, ski school reception, day care & etc.

Hokkaido, Nagano, Gunma

Wage

JPY 750 ~/hour (Before tax)

General

Working Hour

approx. 40-48 hours/week.

Day Off

appox. 1-2 days/week; during peak period, 5 days/month

Accommodation & Facilities

Dormitory will be provided in some resorts at free/subsidized rates. Some dorms are 1 person/room, some are 2-4 persons/room.

Toilet & commual bath are equppied outside. Never dirt or put a towel in the bath as you will share bath with other colleagues. You may use the hot spring in Hotel or Ryokan, but always bear in mind that customers are in the first priority.

TV will be equipped in room or common room. However, some resorts do not have TV as the TV system in Japan changed recently.

Internet Service

Some dorms provide internet service, however, some do not. You may use the Wifi in the hotel lobby or in the office. Or you can also prepare by yourself. Please be reminded that some resorts are in mountain top or suburban area, signal may be not well received.

Meals (if any)

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided in some resorts at free/subsidized rates. Some are optional to purchase, you can also prepare by yourself. Meals are not gorgeous but are simple and nutrient.

Transportation

Own arrangement from/to ski resorts, transportation allowance will be provided in some resorts. Guideline will also be provided.

Taxation

20.42% of income tax is needed while you work in Japan with working holiday visa, it will be deducted in the salary every month.

Kosei Pension & Health Insurance

Some resorts or hotels require all staff to join the company's package compulsorily. This is regulated by Japanese's law and a fixed amount of pension and health insurance will be deducted from the salary every month.

Free/subsidized rate at lift ticket, rental gears or marine activities.

Preparation

Procedure

  1. Go to Apply Now and provide us the information as stated.
  2. Profile screening, then we will contact you and make an appointment for Japanese interview by Skype.
  3. For those who passes the Skype interview, we will judge which resort suit you much and will send you the working details.
  4. Once you accept the working details, we will send your informaiton to the resort.
  5. We will send an email to those successful applicants.
  6. Successful applicants will be receiving the job documents via email.
  7. Your own arrangement to ski resorts/hotels and sign employment contract upon arrival.

關於申請

履歷表上的日文名字要怎麼填?
請盡量與在留卡上一樣為主,簽同意書和搭接駁車時核對身分才能夠吻合。
履歷表可以打中文嗎?
必須要打日文,因為履歷表也會寄給日方負責人過目。
簽證未去領回怎麼辦?
可以先申請工作,等領回簽證後再補寄照片過來即可。
若我可以工作的時間沒有完全符合該怎麼辦?
不一定要與工作詳細上符合,若真有困難,可再作商量討論。
若我的日文程度不符合怎麼辦?
若不符合該工作程度條件的話,我們會於信件中給您比較適合職缺的建議,或於第一階段面試之後和您再次討論是否要換到更適合的職缺。
請問沒有打工度假簽證還可以申請工作嗎?
必須要持有打工度假或就勞簽證才能夠介紹工作。
若我是以留學簽證可以幫忙找短期的打工嗎?
必須要持有資格外許可證明
請問工作有年齡限制嗎?
沒有,但是必須持有合法工作簽證。
我可以一次申請一個以上的工作嗎?
不可以,必須先決定申請一個最符合自己條件的職缺,若是未錄取的情況下,我們才能協助申請第二個職缺。
我打算申請下一批的打工度假簽證,我現在就可以先申請工作嗎?
未申請到簽證者可以先和我們索取詳細資料和準備好申請資料,但是面試和申請工作必須等到錄取打工度假簽證後才可以幫忙安排。
我是日文初學者,還可以應徵嗎?
可以,但可能只能安排內場工作。
申請職缺時是否需要有日文檢定證明?
不需要,只要程度符合也可以。

關於工資

工資是由雇主支付嗎?
是,所有工資均由雇主直接支付。
匯薪水的帳號有限制哪家銀行嗎?
沒有限制哪家銀行或郵局,都可以使用。
薪水一定要扣掉所得稅嗎?
是,打工度假者被列為「非居住者」,所有「非居住者」的所得稅率是20.42%,僱主會扣上所得稅後才發工資。
雇主會發源泉徵收票嗎?
正確答案是不會,雇主不應該向「非居住者」發源泉徵收票。因為「非居住者」是不能退稅的,但確實有些雇主沒有很清楚這些規定向「非居住者」發出源泉徵收票。

滑雪場的工作可以什麼時後開始?
基本上都是12月中旬開始到3月下旬。
我可以什麼時後入住宿舍?
工作前一天入住宿舍即可,若要提前入住的場合,需先通知雇主及得到許可。
提前入住宿舍有額外的支出嗎?
若是免費提供宿舍的話不需要額外支出,若是付費宿舍,以天數來計算。
我可以提前寄行李到工作單位嗎?
可以,面試結束後我們會發送事前準備,事前準備最下方將會註明寄送方式。
到達飯店後我們怎麼報到呢?
請到櫃檯找負責人即可(負責人名字註明於事前準備上) 。
請問雇主會幫忙轉正職嗎?
如果表現優異獲得工作單位認可,我們可以幫忙協助轉成就勞簽證。
